Withers & Wellness brings together equine-assisted coaching, psychotherapy, experiential wellness offerings, and attunement-based bodywork to support meaningful growth, connection, and wellbeing for people and horses.

A non-clinical, experiential approach to personal growth, self-awareness, confidence, communication, boundaries, transitions, and finding clarity around what comes next.

Ground-based therapeutic support offered through the Eagala Model in partnership with a licensed mental-health professional. A space for deeper healing, emotional regulation, and working through challenges with the support of horses.

Interactive, connection-based equine bodywork that supports comfort, softness, awareness, release, and whole-horse wellbeing. Your horse is an active participant throughout the process.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can help you determine whether coaching, psychotherapy, a workshop experience, or support for your horse is the best place to begin.

Horses invite us into the present moment. Their honest, nonjudgmental responses can help us slow down, notice what is happening beneath the surface, and build greater awareness, regulation, and connection. Whether supporting personal growth or equine wellbeing, the relationship itself becomes part of the work.

Withers & Wellness was founded by Tina Peratino, whose work brings together equine-assisted coaching, psychotherapy, equine guided experiential wellness, and attunement-based equine bodywork. Her approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling seen, supported, and more connected—to ourselves, to others, and to the horses in our care.
"Tina’s intuitiveness and grace with our horses during the Masterson Method session were truly admirable. She brought a sense of peace to both the horses and the veterans she was teaching. We saw excellent, lasting results in all of our horses throughout the day. It was a special experience—pampering our horses and learning new skills together. " - Catherine Sears, Executive Director Marion Therapeutic Riding Association (MTRA)
"I was amazed by what Tina was able to accomplish with my horse Rascal and what I was able to work through with him once she taught me her ways. Tina has a fantastic eye for horse behavior and tension build-up. Her expertise was evident. It’s so important to keep your equine partners happy and healthy and I know Rascal felt better after our time with Tina. We had a great time at her workshop and learned so much that will help Rascal stay stress-free in the future. Thank you Tina!” - Kristianna
"An immediate rush of emotions washed over me once we stepped into the stables. Dusty and I locked eyes, and it’s like he just knew I needed this. We spent our time together aligning our energy, synchronizing our breathing, and creating a euphoric mental environment. When it felt “right” I took the brave inner-leap to follow his bladder meridian…. Being kicked in the face by this massive powerhouse of nature absolutely was a concern, however, I fully let go and trusted the moment…as my fingers made it all the way to the tip of his hoof, there I was, squatted low, completely mesmerized, and allowing the calmness to conquer the fear. Symbolic in many ways for how I’ve been tackling life lately. - Christina
"Thank you so much for coming back to MTRA! I can only speak for myself, but you are a great facilitator. I really loved how you connected with all of us, shared your stories, and let us be our authentic selves, while simultaneously showing us So many good things related to horses!! I appreciate everything that you have done for us, and I hope to see you in the near future!" - Kira
